15 Favorite Bouquets of 2015

It’s hard to believe in less than 24 hours 2015 will be completely behind us. This year has been one for the books both personally and professionally.

Personally, the best moment of 2015 was welcoming our daughter (and future assistant), Eden, into the world in June. My life is forever changed. Being a mom is making me a better person and is changing me for the better.  I am grateful that I have the opportunity to be a SAHM while simultaneously following my passion of being a floral designer.

Professionally, this year has been fun, challenging and rewarding. I am so grateful for all my clients and peers that I have had the chance to work with. So much magic was created; so many beautiful events came to fruition. The amount of creativity in this industry constantly blows me away, and I’m thankful to be a small part of it.

2016 is going to bring some exciting changes to Swoon, and I can’t wait to share more down the road!

Enjoy my 15 favorite bouquets of 2015 (in no particular order). Happy New Year!

My name is Kim, I’m a Portland native and the owner and designer of Swoon Floral Design. Being creative has always been a significant part of my life. From a young age I was always looking for something to design, repurpose, and create. With a background in interior design and horticulture, Swoon allows me to combine my passion for flowers and foliage, color, texture, and fabulous spaces by creating one of a kind arrangements for some of the most beautiful events in Oregon. Whether you are drawn to lush garden style arrangements or simple blooms in eclectic bottles, I will ensure each creation reflects your unique style + aesthetic. I work closely with my clients, making sure their wedding or event is the most cherished of occasions. When not playing with beautiful blooms, you can find me spending time with my family and friends, at the gym, on a hike, and exploring the Portland "foodie" scene.
