I was honored to be hired as the wedding florist for this amazing Bend event. Megan and Dan were married on a beautiful, late summer day at Black Butte Ranch. The couple vacationed here together while dating, and decided it was the perfect place for them to tie the knot. What better backdrop for your vows than the majestic Cascade Mountain range?
The couple wanted an elegant feel to their wedding, with some rustic elements as a nod to the ranch atmosphere. We used our reclaimed wood arbor for the ceremony and wooden boxes for the centerpieces. Megan is also a nutritionist so we incorporated kale and apples into the bouquets and arrangements. Even the tables “numbers” were names of different apple varieties! Brightly colored garden roses, dahlias, and ranunculus added pops of color to the beautiful draped tent and looked lovely against the blush bridesmaid dresses. I absolutely love incorporating floral elements into other parts of the wedding day. Megan requested garden roses in various shades of coral to decorate her tiered wedding cake.
Love how all of these bridesmaids look with their neutral dresses and colorful bouquets. Your bouquet is a great opportunity to add personality and color to your wedding day.
We loved creating this wood arbor out of reclaimed wood. It was a beautiful backdrop and could be used in the couples home.
