Kathryn + Brandon | Barn Kestrel Wedding
Where to start with Kathryn and Brandon’s stunning wedding?! There were so many gorgeous and thoughtful details all throughout.
Barn Kestrel, just outside Portland, was a beautiful backdrop for this romantic, garden-esque wedding. This venue’s barn was built in the 1900’s and the property also has a gorgeous Queen Anne Victorian home, as well as one of the oldest Sequoia trees in the state. This place is gorgeous and one of my favorite venues to work at as a wedding florist.
The color palette of blush, marsala, and touches of lavender was perfect for mid September. Dahlias, garden roses, lisianthus, and eucalyptus are abundant this time of year in Oregon and took center stage in most of the arrangements and bouquets.
The arbor was custom made by us and adorned with stock, bay leaf, eucalyptus, and snapdragons.
Kathryn is a fellow floral designer and has become a dear friend over the years, so it was an honor to be a part of her day. In fact, these two are about to welcome a sweet baby boy into the world in just a couple of months!

I loved the mix of soft and rich colors in Kathryn’s bouquet. Perfect for an early fall wedding.
The hues of these bridesmaid’s dresses were stunning. The perfect way to do “mismatch” gowns.
A beautiful garland with pops of floral down the head table makes a beautiful statement.
Those cafe au lait dahlias went perfectly with Kathryn’s color palette.

Do you know what colors she used at David’s bridal? I love the mismatched dresses, and the hues work perfectly!!
