Beautiful Bridesmaids

I love receiving photos of brides with their wedding party. There’s just something about being surround by your closest friends that makes your wedding day so much fun! I fondly remember the hours before seeing Kyle on our wedding day, being surrounded by my sisters and closest friends sipping champagne, getting dolled up, laughing, and just being together.

Being a bridesmaid can be a lot of work…and money…and time, but it truly is such an honor! Bride’s choose the people they feel closest to, trust, and who have supported them wholeheartedly for however many years.

No matter how big or how small your wedding party is, I can guarantee those moments are some you will cherish and remember for many, many years.

These photos are some of my favorites from 2016. You can also see my favorite 2016 bridal bouquets here and boutonnieres here.

My name is Kim, I’m a Portland native and the owner and designer of Swoon Floral Design. Being creative has always been a significant part of my life. From a young age I was always looking for something to design, repurpose, and create. With a background in interior design and horticulture, Swoon allows me to combine my passion for flowers and foliage, color, texture, and fabulous spaces by creating one of a kind arrangements for some of the most beautiful events in Oregon. Whether you are drawn to lush garden style arrangements or simple blooms in eclectic bottles, I will ensure each creation reflects your unique style + aesthetic. I work closely with my clients, making sure their wedding or event is the most cherished of occasions. When not playing with beautiful blooms, you can find me spending time with my family and friends, on a hike, checking out local farmers markets, and exploring the Portland "foodie" scene.
