Marsala + Blush Wedding at Zenith Vineyard | Portland, Oregon Floral and Event Design

Madison + Stephen | Zenith Vineyard Wedding

Months and months before their wedding, I met with Madison and Stephen at a cute little tea shop and chatted with them about life, how they met, and of course how they envisioned their wedding day. Madison showed me a number of screenshots on her phone of things she liked and was drawn to. I could tell through our conversation that they both had ideas for their wedding, but they weren’t quite sure how to tie all of them together or how it would be possible to execute all the details on the day of.

These two knew they were in need of not only our floral services, but event design as well. Through the course of several months, we were able to take all those screen shots and turn those ideas into tangible details that as a whole created a stunning wedding and beautiful atmosphere for Madison, Stephen and all their guests.

Initially, Madison was drawn to soft, more neutral colors like blushes, champagnes, and creams. Given that the venue was a winery, we decided to add in accents of marsala to add some depth and a pop of color. The overall style of their wedding was elegant, romantic, and sophisticated. We also incorporated Madison and Stephen’s monogram designed by Letters and Dust in many areas of the wedding.

Jamie Rae Photo captured their day beautifully and I’m so excited to share these images with you!

We worked with Letters and Dust to create this STUNNING invitation suite, complete with custom monogram that was used throughout the wedding. We are in love with the gold foil letter press and wax seal.

I loved Madison’s bouquet featuring local dahlias, garden roses, clematis vine and snowberry. We completed it with Frou Frou Chic ribbon and wedding rings from her late grandparents.

I loved the detail of the greenery to “tie” back the linens on the cocktail tables.

We built a custom arbor and pedestals just for Madison and Stephen’s wedding. Both are now part of our rental inventory and available to rent!

Another favorite detail was this custom escort board. Each card had the custom “MS” monogram.

My name is Kim, I’m a Portland native and the owner and designer of Swoon Floral Design. Being creative has always been a significant part of my life. From a young age I was always looking for something to design, repurpose, and create. With a background in interior design and horticulture, Swoon allows me to combine my passion for flowers and foliage, color, texture, and fabulous spaces by creating one of a kind arrangements for some of the most beautiful events in Oregon. Whether you are drawn to lush garden style arrangements or simple blooms in eclectic bottles, I will ensure each creation reflects your unique style + aesthetic. I work closely with my clients, making sure their wedding or event is the most cherished of occasions. When not playing with beautiful blooms, you can find me spending time with my family and friends, on a hike, checking out local farmers markets, and exploring the Portland "foodie" scene.
