How to Incorporate Pantone’s Color of the Year Into Your Wedding

Earlier this week, Pantone announced their 2019 Color of the Year, Living Coral.  We’ve been a fan of coral for a long time. It’s a beautiful hue that can be easily incorporated into wedding floral and decor no matter the season. We’ve done a quick round up of some of our favorite designs incorporating coral from years past. At the end we’ve also created some new ways you can incorporate Pantone’s Color of the Year into your wedding palette.

Some of our favorite coral blooms are Romantik Antike garden roses, coral charm peonies, coral ranunculus, coral anthurium, coral amaryllis, and coral zinnias.

Wanting to incorporate coral into your wedding, but not sure how? We’d love the opportunity to help you create a beautiful palette around this hue. Reach out to us here!

My name is Kim, I’m a Portland native and the owner and designer of Swoon Floral Design. Being creative has always been a significant part of my life. From a young age I was always looking for something to design, repurpose, and create. With a background in interior design and horticulture, Swoon allows me to combine my passion for flowers and foliage, color, texture, and fabulous spaces by creating one of a kind arrangements for some of the most beautiful events in Oregon. Whether you are drawn to lush garden style arrangements or simple blooms in eclectic bottles, I will ensure each creation reflects your unique style + aesthetic. I work closely with my clients, making sure their wedding or event is the most cherished of occasions. When not playing with beautiful blooms, you can find me spending time with my family and friends, on a hike, checking out local farmers markets, and exploring the Portland "foodie" scene.
