Bridal Veil Lakes Oregon Wedding | Timberly + Michael
It is always a pleasure working with brides who are over the moon, giddy, and excited about their wedding. Timberly was that bride. From the first time we met to talk about her wedding plans and floral, to the actual wedding day, she was very much looking forward to marrying her best friend. Simply put, she was filled with joy.
Timberly + Michael were married on a hot, Oregon summer day. 100 degrees to be exact. It was a scorcher! These two tied the knot at one of the most beautiful venues in Oregon, Bridal Veil Lakes. Nestled up off the Historic Highway along the Columbia River Gorge, we were able to stay cool(er) shaded by the grand evergreen trees that the venue boasts.
The floral was mostly shades of peach, blush and coral accented plum shades brought in through figs and plums.
For the ceremony we adorned the arbor and aisle with hops vines. It was simple, but created a beautiful lush space. I just adore this look!
Timberly’s bouquet featured cafe au lait dahlias, peonies (yes, in August!), garden roses, and ranunculus. One of my favorite ceremony designs to date. Lush hops vines. I love incorporating fruit into arrangements and table design. Not only does it add beautiful color, but it brings in authentic, seasonal texture. The centerpieces were arranged in beautiful silver compote bowls. The florals included cafe au lait dahlias, peach garden roses, blackberries, eucalyptus, and delicate yellow scabiosa.
Brittany and Rob were married at the stunning Red Ridge Farm in Oregon’s wine country. The property boasts beautiful vineyards, olive groves, and lavender fields; the perfect place for an intimate event!
The bride wanted her floral to reflect the beauty of the area and chose a soft color palette of blue, peach, ivory, and muted greens. These colors were beautiful against Brittany’s gown and the blush bridesmaid’s dresses.
Thank you Brittany and Rob for allowing Swoon to be part of your special day. Enjoy these beautiful images from Sweetlife Photography.
Brittany’s beautiful bouquet featuring cafe au lait dahlias, Juliet garden roses, dusty miller, lysmachia, eucalyptus and more. The bouquets paired perfectly with the blush bridesmaids dresses. We used ranunculus for the groom’s boutonniere, and ivory spray roses for the groomsmen.
Eryn + Nial were married this past April at The Colony in St. Johns. Eryn chose a color palette of whites/ivory, peach, blush and emerald green. We used some of my favorite blooms- white lilac, Juliet garden roses, and ranunculus. The arrangements and bouquets had an organic, garden style feel, which I love!
The ceremony backdrop was so beautiful and fun to design. It was truly a statement and was even repurposed at a photos booth backdrop after the ceremony.
The reception was stunning with farm tables and wood cross back chairs. We placed jasmine vine and rose blooms down the spine of the table and then lush arrangements in silver pedestal bowls. I loved the contrast of the dark wood with the fresh, light colored flowers.
There were so many beautiful and thoughtful details in this wedding. Thank you Emily G Photography for the beautiful photos!
It’s hard to believe you have been in my life for 1 whole year. I can barely remember life before you. You bring so much joy to my life and I’m so thankful God has chosen me to love you, care for you, teach you, and protect you. Being your mom will always be my greatest joy and the best job I could ever have.
I want to thank you for the many ways you have impacted my life just in your first year of life. Because of you…
I am a better person.
I am challenged every single day.
I’m learning to go through life slower, and soak in the little moments.
I will never take sleep for granted 😉
I have different priorities and goals.
I am quickly learning, I can’t control everything.
I try to pray more and worry less.
I better understand how much my parents, grandparents, and Jesus love me.
I love and respect your dad more than ever.
I am the happiest I’ve ever been.
I am a mom. Something I’ve always wanted to be.
Watching you grow this year has been amazing, eye opening, and made me so so proud! I pray that God will help your dad and I raise you according to His Word and that you will be a strong, confident, God-fearing lady.
Chelsea and Shane were married on a rather blustery November day at one of our favorite urban venues, Coopers Hall in SE Portland. They chose a palette of ivory, blush and navy, with lots of greenery mixed in.
Chelsea’s bouquet featured garden roses, anemone, privet berry, ranunculus, eucalyptus and lisianthus.
The family style dinner reception took place in an intimate space created by stacked wine barrels. For the tables we created garland with pops of ivory and blush roses and scabiosa pods for a little more texture.
